Daniel Schnoor Memorial Golf Outing continues to drive funds to student scholarships

To the Editor,
The 3rd. Daniel Schnoor Memorial Golf Outing was held at Ridgewood Golf Course on July 3, 2009. Even though it was a soggy start to the day, 152 golfers converged on to the course for the quest of taking 1st place and the bragging rights for the winning team. After the golf tournament was over, 200 people feasted on wings from Buffalo Wild Wing Grill & Bar of Broadview Hts. In addition, enjoyed a delicious dinner provided by Naks’s Eatery & Drinkery of Brookpark and delicious bakery provided by Becker’s Bakery of Fairview Park. Our golfers and guests participated in many raffles with numerous prizes awarded This was all made possible by the tire-less planning and execution of Dave, Brenda, Cassy and David Stakolich. Because of the success of the 2008 Golf Outing, the Dan Schnoor Memorial Scholarship Fund was able to award three scholarships to very deserving students at Parma Senior High School. Nicholas Buttrey, Tania Levitsky, and Amanda Sears.
We, the Schnoor and Stakolich family, would personally like to thank you for your generous donations. These contributions and donations will reward deserving students with help obtaining the higher education and future that they seek. Because of the success of the 2009 Dan Schnoor Memorial Golf Outing, once again, we will be distributing three $1200.00 Scholarships to the Class of 2010.
